BOBBY’s story. .. He was homeless and now he volunteers with BULF. Bobby was hit on the back of his head in an assult, and Bobby lost his ability to speak, his memory and ability to walk. Bobby helps others now, he is the “voice” of those that can not speak and are homeless. Many in that situation commit suicide as there is limited to no help for them. Bobby knows this struggle. BULF walked the journey with Bobby.. when we met him he didn’t remember his last name, now Bobby speaks to groups on educating those serving the homeless.

CEO/Founder JulieAnn Stewart-Cleaveland hosts two blood drives monthly at the BULF location. She has prevented over 400 suicides, assisted a 14 year old rape victim with the birth of her child, fed over 200,000 people since COVID (March 2020), helped seniors who were eating dog food and starving.. and so much more!
